Cash For Gold building
At the 2017 FireFish Festival in Lorain, Ohio, I created Anacrotech, a large-scale steampunk-inspired projection mapping installation on the city’s historic former U.S. Post Office building. Highlighted in The Plain Dealer / Cleveland.com festival coverage as a featured visual work, the installation transformed the neoclassical façade into a massive animated building, and mechanical imagery rhythmically synced with the architecture. Projectors were provided by Rock The House Entertainment.
By precisely mapping the building’s columns, windows, and stone details, I turned a Lorain landmark into a dynamic cinematic experience that helped kick off the festival and drew audiences to Broadway. The piece captured FireFish’s mission perfectly: re-imagining forgotten urban spaces through art, energy, and imagination, while inviting people to see downtown Lorain as alive, vibrant, and full of possibility.
