AKRON ZOO - WILDLIFE ILLUMINATED

For the Akron Zoo’s Wildlife Illuminated experience, I designed and projection-mapped two buildings with fully animated biomes honoring the threatened species in their respected biomes.

Each building featured three biomes, and each biome showcased six endangered animals, including their names and IUCN status. The species names were displayed using the Endangered Typeface by the WWF, a disappearing font whose letters visually erode to represent population decline, reinforcing the conservation message through the motion design itself.
